We finally had a change to get up to morro bay and do some fishing while the weather was still good, The ride up was nice we(me,john and dana)talked shit all the way up and the time just flew by. We hit san luis obispo about 1:30 picked up some food(not enough) found the new landing got our tickets and then had to drive a few more blocks to the docks to offload our gear. We boarded the Admiral and headed out towards San Simeon for a little fishing for the first days jackpot, We hit the first stop about an hour later drifted and picked up a few small reds some white bellies and a couple of bass to get the trip started, between the three of us we picked up about 10 or 12 fish combined but none for jackpot.The rest on the first nite was pretty typical get something to eat and go to sleep.
Day two started out pretty easy with some nice reds coming over the rail (I was still sleep)But then Charlie decided to move the boat and the picking got a little harder from that point on until he stumbled onto a nice spot that produced a bunch of very nice reds and quality lings, We each got one ling apiece and a fat ass sack of reds to go with it, The weather was beautiful and the fish were biting, a man can’t ask for more then that on any given day. Looking forward to the next trip and hope we can get all the FishKillaz to come out and play.
